Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer said the state was „at the precipice“ and could soon suffer 1,000 coronavirus-related deaths a week unless action is taken.
If Michigan, being at the precipice, suffers more covid cases, the unimaginable might happen. The state might then be at the brink, and if they were still unable to slow the infection rate they could possibly near the edge of catastrophe. A few more weeks of that, and, I hesitate to think it, but it could be they might be staring into the abyss.
Back in October, Dr Fauci cautioned that the „sacred“ American tradition of gathering together at Thanksgiving was „a risk“.
„You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering, unless you’re pretty certain that the people that you’re dealing with are not infected,“ Dr Fauci told CBS News.
When at the precipice, states clamp down. Americans may have to bite the bullet. They may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice the sacred consumption of a bird of carrion.
